Description: The 10 churches in the above selection were selected from a diverse spectrum of about 70 congregations belonging to the Presbytery of Baltimore. Geographically those selected for this project stretches from Harford County (Deer Creek Harmony Church) at the east end to Allegany County (First of Cumberland Church) at the west end. There are six windows and four doors in the selection. Of the six windows, two of the windows are more traditional in that they are figurative while four of the windows have more symbolic designs. Because Of the placement of the windows in some churches, it was necessary to crop out the window frames, which resulted in more abstract presentations in those photographs. Two of the windows are not stained glass windows. The Cumberland window is made of painted glass, while the Haundale window consists of colored glass panels.
