Chaos 1993 Tomoko Yamamoto

This photo was shot in early April. The trees were still bare. This is one of a dozen of frames I tried. I picked this because this frame captured a white birch trunk most vividly against nearby gray trunks which look washed out. Also black squiggles crossing the white trunk are clearer in this frame than the other two frames with the same composition. Despite all the impressionistic effects in the frame and no sharp edges, this photo enlarges well and looks like painting. The film was Fujichrome 400 Professional D.
