Water Reflection Abstract Photos

This is a gallery displaying my water reflection abstract photos spanning close to 10 years. I started taking nature photography shots containing only reflections, particularly fall colors, without any inclusion of the subject of reflection. Gradually these photos became impressionistic, meaning that the reflections became rather blurred, rather than mirror reflections, but as I moved up one telephoto lens to another, it has become more abstract. In my water reflection abstract photos, the object being reflected is always nature, not man-made objects. Since I shoot color, I have shot mostly in the fall and in the Greater Metropolitan Baltimore, and since 1997, almost exclusively by Herring Run, a stream running through the city. If you are interested in more impressionistic images, please explore my main reflections gallery. I have more classically impressionistic images in the '90-'95 reflecion photographs and in the 97 reflection photographs.
